Easter Sunday and a trip to the shore!

St. Peter's square was PACKED for the mass. Tens of thousands of people were there... pretty cool!
The pope giving a blessing in dozens of different languages.

Communion- dozens of priests braved the crowds to deliver communion to the masses, and they were each accompanied by a man with a yellow umbrella... so you could find them easily! It was a pretty funny sight!
Blessing the eucharist

Steps leading up to the church where we performed... quite the workout!!
Basilica Santa Maria in Aracoeli. Basically the ugliest church in Rome from the outside, and our performance venue! =) The steps leading up to it were designed by Michelangelo.
Inside the church was MUCH prettier!

Vatican guards. Don't you want one of their outfits? =)

SCARY steps to get to the top of the dome.

Vatican Museum. Basically every inch of every surface was decorated in paintings, tapestries, marble, or stained glass. Absolutely stunning!
