St. Patty's Day!

I've always been a big fan of St. Patrick's Day, so I was quite disappointed to leave my house that Tuesday morning and see not a speck of green. Apparently they just aren't in on the secret here! However, when I arrived at the CLM (my school) for my classes that day, it was a sea of green... because basically all the students are American!! Pretty hilarious. I even tried explaining the whole concept to my host family and was just faced with blank stares. Oh well! A bunch of friends from my program ended up going out as a group that night after we won our championship basketball game (our program had a team that killed all the others... but there were only four teams total in the CLM "league"!) to celebrate the day and the win. We ended up at Paddy's, the Irish pub near our school, and we had a blast! Irish music, Irish people, Irish drinks... nothing compared to being in Ireland I'm sure, but we made the most of it!
