Tetuan

The royal palace.
Marketplace

A giant animal market outside the city.
Mohammad, our Moroccan tour guide.
The wall surrounding the Medina, which is the oldest part of the city (where the market was).
A performer at our restaurant who was dancing around with candles and teapots on his head!
The carpet co-op where we had a demonstration of all the different styles of carpets made by the native women.
Dressed in traditional Berber woman dress. The women from the mountains come to the market to sell their goods, and they look like this!
The city was FULL of these jewelry stores... apparently a groom has to buy his wife 7 gold bracelets and at least 2 rings in order to marry her... and that's just the start... check out the gold belts!
Silk shop where they sold the materials to make the beautiful wedding gowns we saw.

Tower of one of the many mosques in the city.

Lounging on the exotic-looking couch in our hotel.
